Pin of the Month

Pin of the Month is going to be pretty much what it says on the tin - my favourite image I have found on Pinterest each month! They will be design related, and I will try to make it relevant to what is going on at the time.

I have chosen to keep with the girl power theme since seeing Beyonce (I probably won't shut up about this for about a year) with a fun and clever packaging design concept. I love the idea to create a product especially for that time of the month when all of us girls are a little cranky and will take anything to cheer us up.

Branded with phrases we regularly use when feeling fed up, 'I need some more' being my personal favourite, the ice cream packaging makes a joke of how we act towards our loved ones during our time of the month. I love my food anyway, so I will abuse any excuse to eat unhealthily! Rubbish food just makes everything feel better.

The pastel colours and modern type make for a simple yet attractive design. They help us see what flavour the ice cream is, but are also quite soft and cheerful so not to offend our possibly delicate state..
